Hanningfield Evening Star - "Lola"

Lola was five and a half years old when we sadly lost her to Bloat. She was not the biggest girl in the world but was one of the biggest characters we have ever had the joy of owning. She was always the first to be heard in the morning when it was breakfast time and she would push her way to the front when there was a treat on offer or a cuddle to be had.
Lola has left us with an incredible legacy, she produced two litters for us (one of ten and the second of five) in all of which her strong breed type shone through. Her progeny include many top winning show dogs and bitches that any kennel in the world would be proud of. In total Lola's kids have between them been awarded;
- 3 UK Champions (Reggie, Sabrina and Mona)
- 1 American Show Champion
- 19 CC's
- 12 BOB's
- 1 Reserve Best in Show (all breeds)
- 3 Reserve CC's
- 1 Working Group 1
- 1 Working Group 2

- A Best of Breed winner at Crufts
- The top winning Puppy in the breed
- The Kennel Gazette Junior Warrant Grand Final winner at Crufts
Lola was recognized in 2009 as the breeds top brood bitch, a distinction she followed up by achieving that award again in 2010. We owe Lola a huge debt of gratitude for everything she did for us and the pleasure she brought to us.
Lola was a true star who we will miss but will never forget.
