Judging
As part of our commitment to the breed Steve has done his best to learn all he can about the correct conformation of dogs and Newfoundlands in particular. This has included attending numerous Kennel Club and Breed Club seminars. With the experience gained from showing, stewarding and judging, Steve is currently on the "B List" of Newfoundland Specialist judges.
Up to now, Steve has had the pleasure of judging at 23 KC licensed shows, including a very enjoyable judging appointment at the Cape Cod Speciality Show in the US. 21 of those shows had classes for Newfoundlands and in total Steve has judged 167 Newfoundlands.

Future Judging
In addition to the Judging and Stewarding appointments shown in our Latest News column, Steve is keen to further expand his experience and would be delighted to hear from Show Managers or Club Secretaries who may be interested in extending an invitation.
Steve has now passed the A3 judging assessment for Newfoundlands (with a credit). The assessors were Mr. Roger Vincent, Mrs. Del Richards and Mr. Tegwyn Jones.
